Hello
So yeah I haven’t been updating that much at all. Life is pretty crazy right now. The company I work for bought 4 other companies and we went from 60 employees to over 400 stretching from The bay Area to Boise, Idaho to 2 locations in the UK.
I now use the internet to research Exchange routing examples and just a little bit of email reading. By the time I get home I am on Ivy duty.
I don’t really miss the Internet that much really, but I could use a little more videogame playing time but I have been finding ways to fit that in and Ivy is starting to get fun to play with.
I have been watching the news and going to news sites a lot more these days.
Seems as though change is in the air.

Sleepy time news - sent from my phone feeding Ivy
So far sleeping hasn’t been as bad as I had expected. I heard all these stories about Zombie Dads at work and stuff but except for the first week or 2 it hasn’t been that bad. Ivys at a stage now where she is started to focus on things around her so she can sit and look around cooing without crying. Once night comes though she still gets kind of fussy and only Brianma can make her calm down. I get a little jealous of that but whatever. Lately she’s been going to sleep around 10pm and waking up at 3am. I go make a bottle and Brianna feeds her. Then she usually wakes up about 6am and that’s when I take her down stairs for Daddys Ivy time. She’s fun in the morning. We even had a couple nights of over 8 hours sleep, but we still wake up and think “oh is she ok” Courtney

Turns out Ivy Likes RockBand video game too. I keep telling Brianna I think she is going to grow up to be a Metal Chick.

Doublefine Action News is a videogame developers blog that I follow and at this point his life is pretty close to mine. Not the “making video games” part but the “love videogames and have a 2 month old baby girl” part.
The funny thing about his lastest post is the picture that was taken looks actually how I did the other night, playing the same game with one hand and holding Ivy. I to thought to myself “I love how with the Wii now I can play games with 1 hand”
BTW: His latest project is about the adventures of a Heavy Metal Roadie named Eddie Riggs played by Jack Black. So basically it’s a video game version of Tenacious D

Ivy is starting to like Brianna a lot more. It sucks but it will probably change when she is older.
